At the time of crisis and a complete lockdown, due to the COVID-19, the noble deed of distributing food kits with the essential commodities was undertaken by Udaan and initiated by Vir Lokesh Khiwsara.

The food kit included the following:

1. 5 kg Rice/
2. 5 kg Flour(aata)
3. 1 kg Tuardal
4. 1 kg Moong Dal
5. 1 kg salt
6. 100 GM’s packets each of haldi, mirchi, dhania
7. Oil 1 litre
8. Soap 2
9. Sugar 1kg
10. Chai patti-100gm
11. Poha-1kg
12. 1 kg potato
13. 1 kg Onion

The food kit cost ₹1000/kit.

Udaan took up this activity and tried to help the distressed in this time of crisis, keeping in view all the lawful protocols to be followed during such a situation.

The instant overwhelming response from our members and the society made it possible to distribute 200 kits and thus a total of ₹2,00,000 was dedicated towards this foot forward. The team also went to Medapally village and reached out to all those in distress.
