Mahavir International is a Non-Religious Social Service Organization dedicated on the principles of Lord Mahavir “Love All Serve All” and “Live and Let Live” for 42 years along with its 400+ Centres pan India.

Mahavir International “Udaan” is one such Centre operating in Hyderabad for 10 years. We have conducted numerous health camps, blood donation camps, community awareness programs, aid to orphanages and old age homes, appointed teachers in govt. school to ensure their smooth functioning, aid in infancy care through our national project of baby kits, women empowerment projects and various other such noble causes.

Roko Thalassemia

Thalassemia is all about healthy youngsters. Thalassemia is an inherited Genetic blood disorder in which patient cannot make enough red blood cells and needs blood transfusion every 2-3 weeks. There is nothing wrong with being a Thalassemia Minor, however, there is everything wrong in not knowing that you are a Thalassemia Minor. 50 million (5 crore) people of India (4% of total population) are prone to this. Cyprus, Spain & Italy are the countries who have fully eradicated thalassemia. We work towards:  Creating awareness about Thalassemia Major.  Providing screening facility for Thalassemia Minor.  Providing genetic counselling to Thalassemia Minor. Stop thalassemia, A simple test can help save your child form lifetime suffering.
